Impact Student Ministries

Every Christian is called by Jesus to serve the Body of Christ. If you would like to get involved in any one of these ministries, fill out a ministry application and turn it in to Pastor Eric.

GREETERS
What is it? It is a ministry to be made up of Jr. High students who want to help everyone who enters the Jr. High room feel loved and welcomed.

What would I do? Come early and stay late at all Jr. High Ministry Bible Studies. Reach out to everyone who is new to the group and/or is by themselves. go out of your way to make them feel welcomed. Introduce them to your friends and invite them to sit with you and your friends during the service.

WORSHIP TEAM
What is it? It is being a part of a Jr. High worship band whose goal is to lead the Jr. High ministry in genuine, heartfelt worship of god.

What would I do? Be a committed and faithful part of a team that would lead the ministry each week in worship. All members of the worship teams must also be available to attend worship practices.

SOUND MINISTRY
What is it? It is a ministry that manages all the sound equipment in the Jr. High room and handles all the sound needs for the ministry.

What would I do? You would play Christian music before and after each meeting, provide all the sound needs for the worship team, and set up and tear down the sound equipment before and after services.

USHERS
What is it? The Usher Ministry is the ministry that greets people coming through the door, passes out Bibles and whatever needs to be passed out and helps people find seats.

What would I do? Ushers will be called on to pass out the Bibles, flyers, and bulletins at the proper times. They will be responsible for helping latecomers to find seats and will greet everyone when they come in the door and to make them feel welcomed.

SET UP CREW
What is it? The Set Up Crew is the group that makes sure everything is ready and set up for the service to begin.

What would I do? As a member of the Set Up Crew, you will need to come early to the service you attend. You will be responsible to set up all of the chairs neatly, make sure there is no trash on the ground and to help the sound team set up the equipment for worship.

TEAR DOWN CREW
What is it? The Tear Down Crew is the group that cleans up the room after the service, tears down the necessary equipment, and makes sure the room looks ready to be used again.

What would I do? As a member of the Tear Down Crew, you will need to stay late after service is over. You will be responsible to take down chairs that are unnecessary for the next service, to pick up trash and make sure the room looks nice. You will also need to put things in their proper place, and to help the sound ministry tear down and put away any sound equipment that is no longer to be used.
